Dr. Sanjay Shah

Dr. Shah established Atlas Psychological Services, LLC to provide high quality and tailored forensic evaluation and psychotherapy services. He is a licensed psychologist who serves as an expert witness in legal cases. Prior to forming Atlas Psychological Services, Dr. Shah worked in inpatient and outpatient forensic mental health settings. In his role as Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Emory University School of Medicine, he spent time training forensic psychiatry residents on completing forensic mental health assessments. Dr. Shah has been published and has presented on topics involving ethics in psychology, training, and forensic assessment.

Dr. Shah specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and most frequently offers counseling for anxiety, depression, and stress. He mainly provides therapy for adult men and women. He often incorporates mindfulness-based strategies to help relieve anxious and depressive symptoms. Through his individualized, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach, clients are able to make positive changes in the lives.
