Dr. Shah established Atlas Psychological Services, LLC to provide high-quality and tailored forensic evaluation and psychotherapy services. He is a licensed psychologist who serves as an expert witness in legal cases. HIs primary focus is offering forensic psychological services in criminal and employment issues.
Prior to forming Atlas Psychological Services, Dr. Shah worked in inpatient and outpatient forensic mental health settings. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Emory University School of Medicine, he has supervised trainees to complete forensic mental health assessments.
Dr. Shah has been published and has presented on topics involving ethics in psychology, training, and forensic assessment.
Regarding his therapy practice, Dr. Shah specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and most frequently offers counseling for anxiety, depression, and stress. He mainly provides therapy for adult men and women. Through his individualized, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach, clients are able to make positive changes in their lives.
PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) is an agreement among participating states that allows licensed psychologists to practice across state lines with greater ease. Dr. Shah has met all PSYPACT eligibility criteria. He can provide telepsychology services or temporary in-person services in PSYACT participating states.
